Mediterranean Performing Arts Festival (MPAF) will inaugurate its first concert on June 10th, 2025 in Nicosia, Cyprus. The festival was the dream of conductor Charles Olivieri-Munroe.
In his own words:
"Since my move to Cyprus it became clear that this beautiful east Mediterranean island nation lacks high calibre classical orchestral concerts, particularly an annual music festival which would attract locals, foreign nationals and visiting tourists alike. My aim is to fill this void."
The festival collaborates closely with the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra (CySO) and it's international partner NashvilleCHOPIN

Mission
MPAF strives to remove barriers to the classical music experience making it is accessible to anyone.

Vision
The vision is to set up the first world class international music festival of the Mediterranean, the likes of the Salzburg Festival or Prague Spring Festival.
This will be achieved through organic incremental steps from year to year.
